I have tried many other brands of treats until I found Happy Howie’s. Now we only buy Happy Howie’s products. The sausage treats are perfect for off leash dog walks, with these treats in my pocket the pups voluntarily check in often. They do not stain my clothes and the pups love them. Big bonus, they are all natural, no added sugar and they do not make a mess in a pocket or on my hands. These are the only treats for us.

We use the meat rolls when out of the house, and these sausages as training treats in our house. Our 2 year old St. Bernard will follow any command for these. He never gets as excited about any other treats besides Happy Howie’s. It’s all we buy now!

My Staffie loves these, I swear he knows the bag and gets so excited when he sees it! I love that they don’t have anything that he shouldn’t have in them!

I’m not sure what to think. I’ve never ordered these before. When I opened the package the sausage were very hard. They feel more like plastic than sausage. Were the others the same? I’m worried about the pieces getting stuck in the dogs throat.
customerservice –
Hi Ron, we make our sausage treats to take longer to chew than soft treats. You can microwave the treat for no longer than 7 seconds for ease of slicing. If the treat seems excessively hard, please check the expiration date. Expired treats or treats that have been out of their original packaging for weeks will exhibit excessive hardness. We hope you will give us another chance in the future, thank you!
