SuperZoo Experience – Las Vegas, NV

Here is what I experienced at SuperZoo…

SuperZoo is one of the largest trade shows in the United States for Pet products. It is as large as the Detroit Auto Show. Superzoo was held in Las Vegas, NV at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. During this event, you can see new products, new companies, vendors, exhibitors, as well as distributors and manufacturers. This convention takes place for three days, with over one thousand booths.

It was my first time to come and work a show this large. Seeing all the different booths and all the people, it can be intimidating especially when you work for a small company with a big heart in providing dogs with all natural treats, which are made in the United States.

For many of the exhibitors they have been doing shows this large for years, this was our second time attending SuperZoo. It was amazing to get an experience like this and to grow with my company. We took pride in making our booth look amazing. We handmade sample bags that included a packet of flyers as well as a mini (10 oz.) gourmet roll.

It is a remarkable feeling to work with Happy Howie’s and be a part of this journey. I enjoyed telling customers, vendors and others what we do in Detroit, MI at Happy Howie’s.

We are a small one of a kind dog treat factory. We stand behind our core values, and work to provide a fresh quality made product. Working with my boss David Collado was great he showed me a greater appreciation for the work that we do. It brought a smile to my face when I was done giving customers my short presentation. The customers walked away with information, samples, as well as being happy about a quality USA made dog treat. David and I worked as team.

I enjoyed learning about this trade show as well as meeting all the creative and talented people we work with across the United States. I look forward to attending next year’s SuperZoo in July.
